Mayos baits

Post by JWR075 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 5:43 am

Has anyone fished these stickbaits? If so, how do they compare to the original Dinger or Senko? Trying to find something to replace my 4" dinger in cotton candy, as this color is no longer available from yum

I fish a bunch of Mayo stuff, he does custom colors and sizes for me. Can't get that from the big boys! Yammamoto also discontinued my favorite color, so I had some made. I can't speak for the 4", I use 5", 6" and 10" sticks.

They seem like a good deal based on price vs. quantity, is their sink rate close to that of the same size dinger or senko, and how durable are they?

In the little local city ponds, I have found that the bass are really pressured and that downsizing seems to catch more (in both terms of quantity and quality).

I sent him some yamamotos and asked him to match color and density along with ROF. It took him a couple tries, but he got pretty close. And the price is GREAT. My last order was for 3000 5" stick baits. I don't know how he will do smaller orders ?

$13.00/50. Sounds like a good deal to me.

One more question for you, How long does it take from order date to receive your product from them? Thanks for all of the help.

Mine take a while, but I am not ordering stock products and I get larger quantities. Most of his stock stuff ships fairly quick, he is in on the East coast. Check out the pic on the testimonials page, I took it.
