Bill Haddock lures?

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

Bill Haddock lures?

Post by replica66[] » Wed Dec 20, 2017 4:41 pm

Does anyone out there know what happened to this great SoCal lure company? Really popular in the early 1970s. They made some awesome twin spin jigs that featured great jigheads and vinyl skirts. Lots of big bass were caught on Haddock lures. I've still got a few of Bill's Jigs. I think I heard they were bought out and the name was changed to "Lucky Cat Lures". Anyone have any info?

So this website must have a bunch of young people as members. If you are over 45 or so, you would remember these great lures. But maybe it was also a west coast or even a Southern California thing. These baits caught so many big bass, especially in the winter months in deep water. Those big 5/8 ounce Haddock Twin Spins in white, worked downhill on steep lake points were killer!
