Favorite finesse jigs
Looking for a 3/8 finesse jig. I don't want a light wire hook just something with a smaller profile. Any deps or other JDM jigs anyone looked? I also don't want a football head. I am thinking of trying

Anyone use them before?
I like skinny bear but had some bad customer service last order so looking for something new.

What you linked to is not what I would call a finesse jig. To me that's a normal jig in a normal size. I use 3/8 oz Buckeye Mini Mops with the skirt trimmed down fairly frequently. If you're looking for something different, like jigs from another bass fishing market in a a different country, take a look at these: https://www.ichibantackle.com/shopdispl ... ds=pother5

Thanks for sharing the Jig porn. The quality looks outstanding on most they carry. There has long been a fierce battle between the monkey wanting like a thousand of these beauties and the experiences that I have had where I have seen friends old tackle hoards with the jig skirts and ties all dry rotted.LowRange wrote:What you linked to is not what I would call a finesse jig. Lol, the monkey always wins that battle. Where so you think all my reels come from? Jigs should not be left to die in a box dry rotting away like some sort of collectible. Jigs die in battle.

Keitech and Megabass survival jigs are my go to finesse jigs.
Re: Favorite finesse jigs
I tie my own finesse jigs. I usually tie bucktail under the silicone. the added flair and natural look help draw bites in clear water situations. I usually tie them on a simple round head with either no or a fine weed guard. If I was to buy store bought jigs i'd probably go with Ikes jig.

Greenfish tackle makes some you might want to look into. Your local Dick's probably has them in stock.

I'm highly tempted to try some 'Japanese Super Finesse Jigs'

Re: Favorite finesse jigs
I'm into the tungsten stuff but the only issue is that most of the hooks on those Japanese JDM jigs are tiny compared to what we are used to.

I always liked the Stan Sloan Casting Booza Bug. It has 2 thin wires for a weed guard.
