Go to jigs for largemouth

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

I used to use a lot of Northstar and Strike King jigs. Now I use a local jig guy - Super K Jigs. He is local, but ships his jigs across the country, including to several of the pro anglers. He hand-ties all of his jigs and he will make any color you can think of. It is also nice to have a local expert who can give you some suggestions on what to throw on a certain body of water, etc. I think that wealth of information makes it a no-brainer. I usually have an idea of what I want, but to be able to sit down with the guy and talk specifics before he makes my jigs is awesome.

2 for Omega jigs. I love their hooks, head design, and skirts. I also use terminator jigs when I can find them discounted, the skirts always bust on me though. I have a stash of Keitech jigs I'm excited to use when the MN season opens here in May.

Seibert and Keitech for me. Strike kings aren't bad and are readily available, but I find myself going for the Keitechs more than anything, especially their football jig. Once it warms up a little more I'll be fishing the model 3 swim jig like crazy.
This is the way.

I recently used some arkie style jigs I picked up on eBay made by Ladies Man Custom Baits and they are pretty sweet. Great brush guard, great hook, and hand tied skirt. Can't find anymore of them. Anyone use them before?

This!

I ordered all of Dirty Jigs OD flipping, Skinny Bear Griz, and Dink's Flippin'-Pitchin jigs, looking for living rubber backed by a gammy hook.

Where to start:
Cheapest (of the three).
Hand Tied (with wire).
Rattles included.
Awesome finish (paint/details).
True "heavy" gauge living rubber.
Wide stable head design great for skipping and standing up (of the three the head design easily "stood" at rest without tipping side to side pushing the hook side to side).

Nothing scientific, no financial interests, but couldn't be more happy. Scoured the web, and found the Rodstrainer FB page, and called looking for info on a 1/4oz option. I expected to get a VM or associate (anyone but Dink), but sure enough he picked up and we had a great convo and wouldn't hesitate to recommend rodstrainer tackle to anyone looking for a great jig at a great price supporting a seemingly great guy. Not to put down anyone else's product or efforts.

I will say that I placed a follow up order with Skinny Bear direct (June 7), and followed up on June 25 and haven't received as much as a peep. It's not my style to blast, but worth sharing my experience with the community here. They've lost one customer...

Excellent info on the Rodstrainer jigs....Dink also makes a model using Trokar hooks.

The Rodstrainer brand jigs are not available in very many places, but TW carries them.

I have also talked with and had e-mails with Dink Great knowledge and experience there.
