best spinner bait

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

I've caught the most fish on a Booyah Counterstrike 3/8 oz., good 'ol white/charteruse color. I have "more" expensive spinnerbaits, but I've done the best with this "cheap" bait with a zoom split trailer.

Gann's Stiletto spinnerbaits are definitely worth checking out.

War Eagle's Screaming Eagle in spot remover is what I throw 90% of the time.

I didn't reply because I make my own spinnerbaits, from bending the wire forms to pouring the heads and the assembly. That said, most use white, chartreuse, or white and chartreuse combo but I'm a little different. In clear water I like translucent colors for sunny or overcast conditions, stained water, less that 4' visibility I like pearl, white, and black for both clear and overcast situations. Where things change is in water with less than 1' of visibility, during sunny days I like white, or chartreuse and overcast I like black or sunshine yellow. Now you see why I make my own because I'm picky with colors and it is hard to find exactly what I'm looking for.

I have tried a number of fancy imports over the years. After reading such positive feedback regarding the war eagles,I had to give them a shot.
Long story short, they do bend after catching a fish, not the most exotic looking ....but they sure catch fish.
I find myself using these now almost 100% of the time :D

Give them a go you won't be sorry. Going to try the "custom" route they offer through there website. Wish I was pro-staff for them something i really believe in. Here are a shot of a largie on my go-to.

Give them a try work well for me. Prefer to throw these on 20lb Sunline Reaction FC Fluoro, like burning them but I do let them sink and fish them med speed around weedlines and points. Catch's smallies on the surface and largies on the weedlines well.

THIS - I wave the Pulsator Colorado Willow Spinnerbaits in Chartreuse & White Col/Wil Slv/Gld tied on all the time!!

Not surprising. Cheap swivels vs precision ones. Might be a barely perceptible "squeak" factor going on under water that the fish are keying in on.
