Attaching Rettles to Jigs

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

Attaching Rettles to Jigs

Post by BlaineFred » Tue Jan 27, 2015 4:34 am

I prefer using jigs with rattles, but some jigs come without rattles.

I have bought from Barlow's the rattles and the "Mickey Mouse" ears to attach them...but they don't fit together very well.

I would appreciate any advice, and alternate sources for these things.

Thanks,

Fred

Get the snap on rattles, they work really well. http://www.barlowstackle.com/Snap-On-Rattle-P920.aspx

Thanks...it's a 1/2 inch in diameter and .37 inch high. Seems kind of big.

They are a little big but they have a good sound and they also give you an o-ring to hold it in place, it really is the best alternative other than taking some braid and tying some rattles on.
