Swimjig trailers

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

On my 1/2 oz swim jigs I relly like the Rage Craw from Strike King, those claws really flap and move a lot of water. For the 3/80z and 1/4oz swim jigs I started using a Kalins Scrub, it has the body of a grub that leads into two legs with small boot tails, on a small swim jig it looks amazing to me and the fish!

For plastics, I like love keitech impacts for smallmouth, and really everything. The last few months I've been addicted to swimming hair jigs with saddle hackle trailers tied on \:D/

I like a good single tail grub for my swin jigs... My favorite has to be the Power Team Lures single tail grub - pearl white on the back of a white/chart swim jig! =D>

I like the Cabelas 4" double tail grubs. They work well for me, I will also use a zoom ultra vibe speed craw if I want a little larger profile.

I am on board with the craw style trailers....Strike King Rage chunk or Net bait Paca Chunk( 3 sizes in these)
I like them a lot more than single tail trailers for swimming jigs

I have to say I've had equal success with craw style, double tailed grubs, and paddle-tail swim jig trailers. The craw style and double tail grubs impart a flurry of action, and definitely get noticed, but the paddle-tail trailers (little dippers, zoom swimmin flukes) give the jig a nice natural swimming wobble that can entice wary bass to strike. I like to keep a good supply of both in my bag so I'm covered, whatever the fish like that day.

Fat Impacts work pretty well but they then to rip easy. Jackall Ammonite Shad works well too.
