favorite spinnerbait?

Jig it, spin it, buzz it, if it's got a wire or a lead head, it can and will be discussed in here.

When I buy locally I choose Booyah, good price for good colors and a good hook. I dislike the size of blades that Strike King and War Eagle put on their 3/8oz models. I do use Strike King Redeye Specials in the smaller sizes (can't be beat if you want to catch a small bass on every cast). I just got some Burners to try out this season. I own a couple War Eagles because I wanted copper blades.

When I can afford to put together an online order I buy Damiki Gladiators and Zorro Short Arms.

If I based my answer on what brand I get the most fish on it would be Booyah because I have so many. If you were to give me a couple hundred buck to reload my box it would be mostly the Damikis and Zorros.

yes that was my first post, because this is the first topic that popped to me. Growing up my dad taught me to fish only with worms---never did i imagine the endless tackle out their now-adays....Takes me hours in the store to pick out what i want--all looks so good. In my past years i've only worked with trout magnet - and always had so much luck that i didnt need to try anything else. Now I'm fishing with some friends that are showing me all different kinds of spinnerbaits and buzzbaits etc. i always thought they were for massive fishies so i never used 'em. Little did i know that their was so much more in fishing than casting and reeling it in. The other day i went to a park near my house --small pond-- caught a bass and two other fishies on my strikeback (sadly they were all little guys), than got caught on a log and had to go buy some more! LOL!

One more vote for War Eagle! Great lures, at reasonable prices.

As for the plain head on the War Eagles, they have a new version out with a painted head, eye, and a troker hook. Of course they are a couple of dollars more than the original versions.

BTW, has anyone tried the Lucky Craft Redemption spinnerbaits? They look awesome, especially for clear water.
x2 on both brands. I tried the redemption but had no luck. It was irritating to see the bronze blade on the redemption lose its color though.

Pepper Jigs purple illusion best spinnerbait IMO for clear water bass! Absolutely destroyed the smallies on them 3 to 1 over a War Eagle (which was my previous favorite). Gene makes a hell of a bait!
