Post by badboi » Tue Dec 09, 2003 12:33 am

With all the hype about fishing lines being the "best" which is the best.

Does anyone have experience with these thwo lines? Which is better for abrasion and strength?

Hi badboi,

Maxima all the way! I tried that STren, and found it good for the first week, then the line seemed to dry out and become brittle. The only downside to the Maxima is the relatively high memory

and high memory means..... does it mean that the line retains the shape its put in...ie) circles when on a spinning reel?

Ive heard good stuff about Tuff Stuff
any one tried this line?

bb,

I've used Maxima Ultra Green in 6 lb. test on a baitcasting reel and didn't have a problem with coiling (high memory). The Suffix DNA is worth looking into. Very durable with minimal memory. Comes in clear too, unlike the Maxima Ultra Green.
