Does anyone know of an online retailer that sells Daiwa Capricorn 2500 ABS spools?

Box 22,

You should have posted this in the Tackle forum. But I'll let this one slide. Here's the information for the Daiwa Capricorn & Cabelas Prodigy (Capricorn with extra bearings) spools.

I called the Daiwa Corporation. You can order from them directly:
800·736·4653
Prompt #8 (Parts)

D·a·i·w·a  Capricorn
Model   Spool P/N    Price

No problem. I don't think this forum has moderators that move posts to the appropriate areas.

It's interesting that the Cabelas branded spools are cheaper than the Capricorns given that they are exactly the same.

Gotcha.

I guess since Cabela's name has less weight than Daiwa, they have to sell at a lower price point to get any market share.
