How much?
How much?
Just wondering how much you guys spend on tackle each year.
And for those who are married, does your wife complain?
I have bought about $500+ worth this year already.
New Loomis rod, baitcaster, new lines, and of course new lures to play
with. As long as I buy my wife something, I can get something for myself.

No complaints from my wife. In fact she encourages me!

Re: How much?
I keep 2 rods, until of them breaks then spend $200-350 on another one.
Dazzle let us know how well the G Loomis performs. I myself plan to purchase the G Loomis Surf Series.

Re: How much?
I bought a Mag Bass IMX rod. It's great for bass fishing.
I wouldn't buy anything below GL3. Gl2 does not feel right to me.
Well, at least for bass fishing I prefer the stiffer IMX.
I don't do surf fishing, but I assume GL3 or GL2 might be better for
you because it's more flexible. Not sure. I am a bass guy.

Re: How much?
I guess I average about $800 a year. This year I went wild!:
• G. Loomis drop shot (spinning)
• G. Loomis drop shot (casting)
• Shimano Calais
• Shimano Calcutta CTE 50 GT
• Cabelas Prodigy Spinning (Daiwa Capricorn)
• Quantum Catalyst CT10 PTI
• Lamiglas Competitor Series drop shot casting
• Sirrus crankbait rod
When my wife asks me what I want for my birthday, Christmas, etc., I always have a quick answer with a URL and/or phone number.
Two weeks ago she brought home a $300 Cabelas gift certificate she received from one of her vendors. "Here honey." "Thank you sweetheart!"

Good day mate
Even though I don't buy really expensive gear, but
ye know fishing in Oz and its salts really put a beaten
on our tackle. I said I'd spend around $1000-2000 Australian
on gear each.
