Rapala Jigging Lures

Post by Aerotus » Sun Sep 07, 2003 6:20 pm

Has anyone used those weird looking things?
I just think there's too many hooks, but some
people tell me that they work well in the winter months.

Yeah, what is that? Will the hook cut the fishing line when
you hook a fish and it thrashes around?

these lures are used for vertical jigging through the ice here in the northeast....i have caught walleyes, bass , yellow perch, pike + chain pickerel on them...usually i just drop them to the bottom, reel them up a foot or so and and jig them up and down, most hits occur on the drop.
