Cold weather lines

Post by Mike W » Sun Sep 07, 2003 1:14 pm

Just started checking out this site and it looks pretty good. Here goes with my first question.
I am trying to find a good line that will preform well in very cold weather. Below freezing. A few of my summer lines end up having terrable memory problems as the temps drop. Also looking for this line to be hi vis.
Alot of my midwinter fishing is pitching jigs to rock shorelines. The high vis help to see when the jitg has made contact with something.
I tend to stick to 6 or 8 pound test for this fishing.
MN mid winter river walleyes are the fish I am chasing.

Mike,

I haven't tried this line before, but here's one you can
take a look at.

The descriptions look like what you're looking for.

Let me know what line you end up using and if you like it.
I'd be interested in trying it.
thanks
