Berkley Gulp plastics

Post by crankit » Wed Aug 27, 2003 10:21 am

Hi! Have been reading tackletour and been monitoring
the forum for quite some time now and thought I participate.

Has anyone tried the new Berkley Gulp plastics?
They say it is scented and 100% biodegradable(awesome
for the environment!). I picked up a pack of
these super baits, turtle back worm, in black red fleck
because that's the color I like to throw in the lakes I fish.
I haven't used it yet and just wanted to see how
you guys like it. Also since it is biodegradable, does it
mean that after using it for one day, I have to throw
it away before it degrades/falls apart? Anyone have experience
with these, please share your inputs. I'll post my opinions on
this myself once I get a chance to use it.

Thanks!

the bait wont fall apart after one day. unless you catch alot of fish with it in one day. I think berkley is really trying to push this new bait alot, because you cant really do to much more to a plastic bait. I'm from the old school when all else fails give me a night crawler,a split shot, and a 1/0 hook and i'll catch fish.

I'm gonna get some in the off-season, but I think that the regular toruney-strength, probably works just as well.
