yamamoto tournament rods

Post by quickF4i » Wed Oct 03, 2007 4:04 pm

i found one of these at a tackle shop last week, never knew they existed.
i bought the 7'6" 12-25# version, figured it would be good for lizards and maybe frogs, seems to have a stout backbone but a softer tip. split grip handle, batson gtb-17 seat, Sic guides (gray frame) and no foregrip. i check the gary yamamoto website and the rod retails for $130. and i probably paid 1/3 of that :) anyone used one of these?
