Daiwa Exist, or Shimano Stella? please help......

Post by Rocness » Mon Oct 01, 2007 5:18 pm

Hello everyone, O.k. so its time to treat myself to a new reel and
I'm going high end. I have narrowed it down to two reels... 1 being the
Daiwa exist and the other the Shimano Stella. I know both reels are
phenomenal reels but I've only been able to test the Stella... So my
question is has anyone felt the Stella and the exist and can tell me which
one they preferred and why? Or even any comments on the Exist if you
have any? much appreciated.....thx

Why not have the best of both worlds? j/k

I have the Steez instead of the Exist and it would be a hard choice to say whats my favorite between the Steez and Stella. I find the Stella to be a tad smoother, but each are incredible. I use my Stella more for saltwater applications, and my Steez for fresh and brackish. Again I couldn't pick a favorite of the two.
