OK went ahead and purchased the GLX853. For the price I couldnt pass it up. Picked it up for $289 shipped brand new.

My Steez is on a Dobyns DX 704 Champion Extreme series and that is one sweet combo.
Prostaff: Daiwa, Dobyns Rods, Vertical Lures, and Sunline.

Yeah can't wait to get it!

If anyone is interested I can give them a link to where I got it. The guy has some very good deals on many types of Loomis rods.
