A good lure can give you some edge under certain conditions, assuming you are at the right spot, at the right time and presenting it right. However, give that same “magic” lure to the newbie, and 9 out of 10 times he will catch zero fish. My point is – location, presentation and timing will make you successful even if you have “average” lure at the end of your line.
That being said, I still have my favorites like ITO 110, Storm Thunderstick Junior, Yo-Zuri L-minnow, Daiwa Dartist and very important – the thinnest line I can get away with…
