Bad BAIT MONKEY!

Post by Midnightrun1 » Sat Sep 22, 2007 4:18 pm

Well I have all you fine folks here to blame. I finally pulled the trigger and stepped the game to a all time high.

I picked up the 103ha steez and a Cumara 7'2" MH fast action rod. :D

Spooled it up with some 12 lb Sunline Shooter line and hit the water for 30 mins.

I really thought that the rods that I have (quantum sig series, Compre, Vrod, ect) were fine rods till now.

All I can say is that every flap of a chatter bait , every rock, every weed clump is transmitted through the rod.

Casting is a WHOLE different ball game also. WOW can I throw a 1/4 chatter bait a LONG ways. Further then I though possible with the Energy reels that I have. Just amazing equipment when you get to this level of rods and reels!

Thanks everyone for leading me to the never ending dark side of rods and reels! :D

Joe

P.S. To make the deal even sweeter I picked up the rod and reel for $555 as a combo price!

Picts I will try to get the camera going tommorrow. The rod and the reel are almost the same color with the reel being a lighter shade of grey...
