I need to respool a few dropshot reels and hate wasting the unused line on filler spools that isn't enough for another reel. If I buy a bulk spool, will the unused line on the spool keep over the winter months? It would be stored inside. Almost forgot, it would be flourocarbon line.

Yes, fluorocarbon line will keep over the winter. Fluorocarbon is not as susceptible to temp changes as mono or co-poly is.
