I'm not a big spinnerbait fan, but at night they seem to work really best. what are some of the brands and sizes y'all like to use for night spinnerbaiting?

I like a big black spinnerbait with a big colorado blade for more vibration.

Black w/ chart Booyah 3/4 ounce moontalker for me.
Where did you find Booyah spinner baits over 1/2 ounce? I have been looking all over the place and have no luck.

I like a 3/4 Heavy cover spinner bait with a single colorado blade in black and red. www.heavycover.com

Weight, durability, and the size of the Colorado blade are probably more at issue than brand. I have several black spinnerbaits and buzzbaits in different sizes from tiny to extra large, and so do my night fishing partners and acquaintances, but I can't tell you if they're Booyahs, Terminators, Strike Kings, War Eagles or what. I picked them up here and there based on availability and appearance in the package at the time. They all work, and all seem to produce about the same. Sometimes changing up the size of the blade on the spinnerbait helps (or seems to, anyway.)

Terminator makes a spinnerbait that's tough to bend out of shape or break off.

Hint: (from my experience) the extra color doesn't seem to matter or get any more hits; black + red, purple, chartreuse, blue, whatever = same effectiveness. Get some that are dark in different sizes and switch up on size, not color, if you don't get bites.

I like using my KaRu Lures VibraSpin, Black and Blue model. All the spinnerbait blade movement and the tremendous thump and vibration from the swimblade up front. Best of both worlds at getting there attention in the dark.

I usually get them from Basspro or Lebarons here in Toronto.
