hi...everyone,

I got a question here.. Anybody knows anything about Fenwick Techna AV rods.. Any comments and suggestions regarding the rod??

Hi fongkin,

I used to fish a lot of fenwick but thats a brand that I see going downhill faster then a bullet. You can pick up Fenwick specials at Walmart or Sportmart all the time these days. The techna AV's are still decent rods, but I'm not a big fan of the Aramid veil system...when i fished them the guides just didn't feel that smooth, and with somes lines was downright loud. Theres a lot of choices out there and for that moeny I'd go entry level Loomis or mid range St. Croix. ...just my opinion.
