cyber flexxx plastics

Post by quantum angler nt » Wed Jun 04, 2003 4:45 pm

Has anyone tried the new cyber flexxx plastics? I bought some but I haven't tried them yet. Has anyone had any success with them?

I have seen them on tv and stuff.
I think they would work like any other plastics,
except they are way more durable and will
last longer. Last longer might also mean
adding scent to them when they are being
stored in the bag to get rid of any other human
scents.

If you use them, let us know.

Hi Quantum angler,

Yeah I've run them on a carolina rig, with the bullet pegged. One advantage of the cyber flexx plastic is that they float. So if you peg your Carolina rigs you can control the depth of your plastics. Bounce the weight on the bottom and it actually looks like your lizard or hog is hovering over structure, or foraging.

One other advantyage of teh Terminator cyber flexx is that since the plastic is now durable enough you can insert rattles if you want more sound.

Tight lines,

Hey JIP,
Would you ever consider doing a review on cyber flexxx plastics?

Ever try these yet?

I have been reading negative things on other boards.

Hi Quantum

I have tried tried the cyber flexxx here for bass and have not had a lot of success with them. I fish about 20 or so tourneys a year in our short season and I found that the cyber's get sticky when they get wet and the tails on the grubs stick fast to the body. Also beware not to put them in with other plastics as they will have a chemical reaction and boy that is a mess, I had that happen!

Wayne, what type of bass do you guys have in Germany?
Do they differ from ones in the US?
Post a pic if it's different. I would like to take a peek.
thanks

Hi Daz

I leave in a town called New Germany, which is in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Up north as I think you refer to it and we only get about 5 1/2 months of good fishing. We only have smallmouth here, we don't have the buckets. We also have good speckled trout and atlantic salmon. Pickeral were introduced here a few years ago in some lakes and the are coming on strong. I really enjoy bass fishing most of all, lots of action. :)

Hi Daz

Sorry for the delay. Was away on a tourney. The smallmouth were introduced here a few years ago but there is lots of feed for them. We are now geting them in the 5 lb. range ocassionally. The 17" to 19" are quite plentiful. They are alot of fun on light tackle. :D
