ABU Revo STX

After reading the review for the above reel on this site I thought I'd for a little more information (these reels are not available in the UK until December).

Spool - does anyone know the spool weight ?

How does the 'infi II spool' system work compared to say a standard set-up ?

My primary interest in this reel is for 5/8oz plug casting, I'm currently using a ABU2500c with an after market spool - though parts for the 2500 are becoming scarce.

The spool weighs 0.6 ounces.

Many thanks for your prompt reply, I was hoping that it would be around 0.3oz (12gm).

Are there any pictures that could show me the way in which the spool is set-up ?

Cant wait for the review of this reel also. It should be a pretty darn good reel just lacking in the gear ratio department.

The attached picture 'complete spool with line, spindle & bearings' was that 0.6oz ?

If so I might just have to make a purchase or two.

The 0.6 ounce is without line. I was able to non-weighted plastics such as Senkos with the reel with 12 pound test.
