Broken vision 110

Post by trevorvandam » Sun Jan 26, 2020 3:06 pm

Broke the bill on one of my vision 110s a while back. And I had a buddy tell me that I can send it in and get it replaced for free. Is this true? If so, how do I go about doing this?

Thanks

Maybe try the FAQs on their website: https://megabassusa.com/f-a-q-s/

If this were true; I’d have a shoebox full to send in ;)

Edit: I often play chicken with docks and sometimes you lose. Newish broken ones make awesome key ring charms

Its true. I have sent mine in before and they provided great service. Megabass USA is impressive.

Wowza. I won’t send in the entire shoebox because I don’t want to ruin it for everyone, but I might send one that’s in pristine condition sans bill.

They do mention if you hit on rocks or docks that its not a warranty claim but if it falls off during a regular retrieve or easily comes off just send it in. Id just be honest and see what they come back with. They are great to deal with

Makes sense. No replacements for me. Mine did not fall off without good reason

You mean they aren't designed for throwing against rocks?

I once made a PVC bluegill shallow running crank that the bass really loved. After I stuck a four lber beneath a raised concrete fishing pier, I tried to repeat the cast, over and over. After five or six hard impacts with the concrete, the next cast all I got back was the bait's front half. I guess PVC is allergic to concrete! Hahaha

Yeah; it’s a whole lot of overconfidence on my part combined with super short memory of previous failure. I saw you flash under that dock. Hell; I can make that cast!

Sounds like you were there!
Funny, you'd think that concrete platform would have learned to move after it had been hit half a dozen times.
