Snakehead lures

Post by goldrod » Mon Dec 03, 2018 8:13 pm

Was watching videos on snakehead fishing. There is a lure that has a hard body like a frog and tapers to a hook with skirted fibers surrounding it.
What’s the name of this lure ? I saw on coming through the water likena buzzbait but I can’t tell what’s making it buzz
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible

Your description is a little fuzzy, but I'm guessing it's a type of lure called a "jump frog". Google the term and you'll see plenty of images. It's a lure that I'm actually buying next year to add to my largemouth arsenal.

Do you think they would attack a pompadour?

They will aggresively attack anything that moves on top of or under the water.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

I wish there was snake heads here in the west coast, would be pretty fun to catch.

I think just about anything will demolish a Pompadour. Catfish, Gar, Bluegill...
This is the way.
