Any differences between vintage Rat-L-Traps and newer ones?

Post by TK_duluthbass » Sun Oct 21, 2018 8:00 am

I had bought some older traps on eBay and did really well with them this fall. The only reason I bought older ones was because they were cheaper. I lost all of them and am looking to replace them. Are there any differences between the vintage ones and the newer ones? Same plastic, mold, weight, and rattles? Not concerned about o-rings and hooks.

My opinion is that they are likely very similar, however not the same. I would try a few newer ones to see if it provides the same results.....however if the old ones are actually cheaper, then stick with what you know and save $$

I feel like they’re all the same, I’ve caught fish on both in the same little highly pressured pond.
