I swore I saw something like this before, just can't find it anymore.

As a side note, it's not for me lol.

The jitterbug wobbles across the surface.

Thanks, I know about the jitterbug. I saw something online recently about a bait that will "walk" for you on a straight retrieve, and I can't seem to find it. Weird, I know lol

Oh I meant a bait that will walk on a straight retrieve.

I found something that might do. It has a jitterbug type lip.

Are you looking for a top water, or a glide bait? I believe Deps offers a few self walking baits.

As was said, glide baits will walk on a slow steady retrieve. They come in a lot of different sizes.

I can only group those lures with the big lips similar to jitterbugs. Savage Gear just came out with a variety of lures like that. One of them looks like a bat.
slip bobbing is the laziest way to fish

I find the Gary Yamamoto Tenaku Jerkbait walks the dog on a straight retrieve. Crazy enough I find it is Chinook salmon that like the action, my Bass don't go for it. When I examine these baits they look like conventional jerkbaits but chuck them out and wind them back and they walk the dog just under the surface. I think they may be out of production as I have not seen them for sale for a while.

Jackall Riser bait is a new topwater lure which does just that.

I've never used one, but the Bill Lewis Stutterstep is supposed to kind of wag on a straight retrieve.
