The luckycraft RC .05, and other smaller squarebills.

It appears LC no longer makes the .05 since the Clunn/Tak models got discontinued. Ive tried the luckystrike crank thats a comparable size, but its lighter for its profile and it just doesn't get bit in my hands. I loved the RC .05, Ive never seen a bait that size that could be used so easily w/a normal baitcaster- and it just slayed fish. Has anyone found anything comprable or another smaller squarebill youre fond of? I see they do make a .07 now, which I may order- but the color selection is very limited.

I am a bit surprised that you are not getting bit on the Luck-e-Strike RC series 1. It has been a great bait for me. You are right, it is lighter at 1-1/2" and 1/8oz compared to the LC .05 which was 1-3/4" and 1/4oz. It's a shame they stopped making them.

Another small squarebill that I am fond of is the Academy H2O CRUL which is similar in size to the Luck-e-Strike and has performed well for me. Colors are limited to 10 but a very decent bait for $2.99.

Bomber Square A 3/8oz. Small, inexpensive, and throw pretty decent on baitcasting gear.
