What is the most productive color rat, a natural brown or gray one or one of the wild colors like morning dawn?

The browns and greys in the day and black at night.

Overcast and the Morning Dawn worked great together.

Does color really matter, other than the belly, for baits that run that close to the surface?
I bought a few of the hippy-color rats because they make me laugh and the bottoms are white.
