Just stay with it all day this time of year and it will put a big smile on your face. It my waters in FL, you can have success with a jerk bait late fall well into spring. However, in the lakes I fish, that bite really turns on right now around thanksgiving. I just get bit and it seems like all species in my lakes will bite. I start catching all kinds of stuff that I weeded out in the summer early fall with swinbaits and plastics. Cadence can be figured out pretty fast, but I get hooks ups with short pauses, long pauses, just realing 110 in like a crank gets bit. Sometimes as soon as it hits the water. Definitely 110 for me. Casts like a bullet. I do match colours to water clarity and sun and others have mentioned, but sometimes wonder how much it matters. I thrown some super banged up old 110s which have seen a third set of trebles in which the finish is well worn off and they get bit. Only time I've watched bass approach and get spooked is with a flashy fluorescent colour with silver steipes (forget name) in super clear water. I was pushing it. I looks forward to the good jerkbait months.

I find the Vision 110 works better in clearer water and the Pointer 100 excels when there is some stain as the rattles in this bait will draw them up.

I like the vision 110 also, but am surprised no one has mentioned the Jackall Rerange yet. Matt Allen on Tacticle Bassin seems to really like them.

They both have their place, but I would give a slight edge to the 110

Gorgeous looking bait and I’d like to give the Rerange a try. As for the OP’s original question, my preference is 50% Vision 110+1, 30% Vision 110 & 20% Pointer. Like another poster mentioned, I like the broader profile of the Pointer in stained (not dirty) water. Exceptions are a day to day thing and there will be days where we’re fishing shallow flats where none of the above will work and we’ll need to use Silent Risers, 110 Mags, SR pointers and SR Live Pointers. If I’m fishing from shore and there’s a chance I’ll get hung up I won’t use any of the above

If you guys want a sleeper bait check out the Raid level minnow. Not to make it more confusing for the non-initiated
