Glide Baits.. <100 bucks
Glide Baits.. <100 bucks
Whats your best glide bait for less than 100 bucks ?
I've been looking around and may pull the trigger on one esp after seeing the Duel Ninja Glide, 6th Sense Speed 100 and the MB 135b and 185 I Slide.

At the lower end of the spectrum a lot of people like the River 2 Sea S Waver 168 and the Savage Gear Shine Glide. Watch the tactical bassin videos on youtube for how to work the S Waver.
I have a waver but I haven't thrown it enough to comment really. I've had a few follows but haven't caught anything yet.

I-slide 185 works well for me.

Jackall Gantia! Great glide bait! Suspends in the water column or you can make it sinking.
Haven't caught a fish on it yet thought

I love the Duel Hardcore Twitch'n Ninja Glider. I have the Gold Ayu and Holographic Shad. They glide very well with a nice flash too it.

Thanks All....
i've been looking around and seems like the Diablo Fast move f5.1/2-70x7 was a good rod for these type baits at least paired with and IS79.... swimming a MB I Slide 135b...
I'm going to look for some rods to help me out with these types of baits. Several of the ones I am looking at are
MB I Slide 135b
Duel Ninja Glider
6th Sense Flow Glider 140
and S weaver
I'm thinking my Power Versatile can handle these lures but still why not get a tech spec setup?
Wifee saw the Roman Made mothers and was praising their life like features til she saw the price, Thats when an abrupt silence fell about the room. lol

I used to use the Rapala Glidin Rap. They retail for about 15 bucks. I used to use them religiously when I did more pike fishing.

My favorite so far is the Gan Craft jointed claw 178SS.

I'll second that...casts like a leaf though....even if you really set the brakes high to keep it straight.
Tried adding feathered trebles to no avail
Great action.
Caught some really nice fish on the brown trout pattern.
even threw it in the west branch of the delaware all the way up in hancock to see if any giant walleye or resident stripers would take a swipe...and sure enough a very curious teen sized striper gave chase but didn't commit.
threw it for yardstick sized trout on the river of pain...and had a giant brown follow.
Works for lmb too

This. I've had awesome luck with the Perch color, even in lakes without perch in them.dhottle wrote:My favorite so far is the Gan Craft jointed claw 178SS.
