Speciality Tackle -- Looking for Info

Post by BlaineFred » Sat Feb 14, 2015 10:29 pm

I have some lures made by Speciality Tackle, but I can't locate any info.

Looks like high quality JDM lures, but I can't be sure.

I would greatly appreciate any info that you can provide.

Thanks

Fred

Only because I was intrigued, I did a quick search and this is the first link that came up: http://jdrspecialtytackle.weebly.com/ Looks like all they make are spoons.

I don't know much about about them, but I believe specialty tackle is the american partner of the jdm zenith bait company. The Jr d crankbait is probably the most popular bait. The big bite is a great square bill, the z-waves are awesome jerkbaits, and carols are great walking baits.

Thanks. I don't think that's the company. They show a pix of fellow holding a spoon.

I did some web searches, but could not find any info, and that's whi I posted here.

The lures I have are jerk baits and crankbaits.

You should be able to access specialtytackle.com via waybackmachine.org. Follow the instructions and pick an available date. Pretty cool. I've used it once in while to access the site you're looking for. They were one of the first websites I used to access JDM tackle.

You might have some luck using "Zenith baits" or something similar to find some info. However, I'd hide 'em if they're Junior D's!

Good luck!

I bought 3 of the Big Bite Crankbait lures off Ebay hoping to use them for shore fishing to increase casting distance and get out further on a specific body of water. It ended up being a waste of $60. They all take on water. Can't even return them since the manufacturer is out of business.

This was going back two years ago. Any suggestions for a similar shallow running crank that can cast very far but will not take on water and sink like the big bite?
