Alternative to the Viper Risebacker

Post by dragon1 » Tue Apr 22, 2014 4:31 pm

Anyone have a good alternative to this bait? It has just become a very tough and expensive to procure the Viper Risebackers anymore...especially in this color.

I am also open to other similar baits that would have as tight a vibration as the Risebacker...and especially in this great Chartreuse color.

I know your looking for a alternative but Ichiban has one in that colour. Plus other colours for $9.99.

Just a FYI!

Those kind of look like the Spro traps. I have a buddy that swears by those.

Yes...don't know about the internals, hardware, etc....may have to pick one up to toss around and compare.

Don't know about the comparison either, but Aruku is a great bait and worth a test.

Arukus are my favorite lipless crank right now. I'm like my wife changing clothes though, next week it'll be something different.

I need to get a few of these Arukus...they seem to be well liked and receive excellent overall reviews. :-k

magic shad, spooky shad, and clear chart have been my favorites so far.

Aruku Jr's are my go-to lipless for creek smallies. Deadly on a pulsed (moderate rip and fall) retrieve.
