lucky craft skt mr and dr compair to the rc1.5 and 1.5dd ??

Post by crankmaniac » Sun Mar 30, 2014 9:39 am

Hi, i am a big fan of the Lucky craft rc1.5 in both shallow and diving version, caught tons of fish on them :big grin: but with this long winter i have too much time left  so i start checking for some new crankbaits to try and the Lucky craft skt series both mr and dr start to grab my attention. How they could compair to the Lucky craft rc series in term of action, diving deep and fish catching skill?

The SKT MR and DR are not as round as the RC 1.5's. They have a more flat sided body if you're comparing those two. Also, the skeet has a much tighter wobble when being reeled in. I like using them when fishing stained or colder water when you need a different type of action.

Both are awesome cranks for cold water or pressured waters. The MR is one of my favorites. Dives to 5' and deflects rocks and wood as good as a square bill. The DR dives to 10'-11' and also deflects very well with its long square bill. They both have a tight and fast action with less roll than the RC. They all serve a purpose and if I don't get bit on one in spring or fall the other usually works. And all the SKT series catch fish like crazy.
