Megabass Color Help

Post by Crank Bass » Sun Dec 08, 2013 12:49 am

Can anyone give me some input on which Megabass color is closest to the Lucky Craft Ghost Minnow Color?

I want to buy some Vision 110 jerbaits that closely match the Ghost Minnow color from Lucky Craft.

i don't think they make a perfect match but when I reach for a 110 its usually pro blue. any of the gp colors really mimic shad and are good in fairly clear water.

my vote is HT Ito Wakasagi. only difference is a little purple, but this has been the most effective color for me and reminds me of luckys ghost minnow

x2 on ito Natural that's a great all around baitfish color. I also really like Tennessee Shad, Table Rock, and MSS

As funny as it seems, my new favorite color is Komorin Copper Shad... It looks really close to the old crawfish color shad rap that's been so successful for years around here. I looked at it and immidiately thought "well if the shad rap gets bit, this should work!" and it has... Sorry, derailed the thread. I think GP Crystal Shad is the closest to the LC Ghost Minnow color...

The HT-Ito Wakasagi is the closest match that I'm aware of. Here's a side by side shot of a Sammy 100 and a Giant Dog-X in the respective colors. While it is close, the Megabass's color scheme is more vivid. It's as if it has a slightly chrome or iridescent agent added to the paint. Over all they're a fair match however.
