I have a few of them. Ive never caught anything on them. I throw them every once in awhile, they are fun lures to use. I just havent really been in any spot to use them. I have been fishing mostly inshore lately. Now that its cold just about every frog has buried itself into a hole in the mud somewhere so its pointless to use them in lakes and ponds IMO.

Yeah- by me the frogs are long gone now too. I was just curious, for the price I was hoping to get some positive feedback for next summer froggin.

The Basiriski's are a good bait. They excel when fishing the pads/mats where large openings are present. They are a little clumsy when worked over the really thick stuff as their wings can kinda get fouled and the bait sorta tumbles.Where this bait really shines for me is at night. Its one of my favorite night baits.Fished in open water ,I can always count on a few fish to blast it.Hook ups seem to be the same as any bait of this nature but its kinda like having a weedless Jitterbug that can be thrown virtually anywhere with no need to worry about getting hung up.

Its a nice bait with lots of side to side action. I'd recommend getting one.

Probably to late by now but you should look into the DEPS Slither K, too. It's my new favorite topwater frog. Have caught some nice fishes with this bait but nothing too special to brag about. I throw this bait into some pretty have stuff and have yet to see it fail. Compared to other frogs on the market, I have had more success on this bait (2:1 ratio) when fishing various frog lures.

My only question is when will someone in the states start carrying DEPS new Buster K?

This frog is ok. It's not very durable and only the hard belly is worth a mention. The original one was so hard to get action out of as it was skiing most of the time. The hard belly has seems to have solved it but mine is all busted where the weight and the plastic joins. It's all torn up and it falls out of place allowing the bait to take in water. More annoying than a Spro. It's all busted up fro catching fish though!
