Newest Vision 110s?

2 of the 110s I bought from thehookuptackle didn't come with split rings. Has anyone fished these yet? Are you adding a ring or fishing it straight?

I haven't decided whether to put a split ring or just tie a loop knot. I'm leaning toward the latter.

The 110's that come in the hard plastic box will not come with rings, the ones that come with the paper backing and plactic cover will come with split rings...not sure what gives but I added/replaced all of mine with oval split rings. To me atleast it has better action with split rings.

many japanese fishers use snaps, hence the lack of a split ring on the japanese versions

I put split rings on my latest batch of TW 110's, which did not have them from the factory. Very disappointed that a $25 lure has corners like that cut! All my "older" (1-2 months) had split rings on them when I bought them.

I bought two from TW about 2 months ago and they came with split rings.

I just got the Vision 110 2000 model year, sealed in the box , from Japan. It came with a split ring. Ichiban Tackle was the vendor.
