painting trebles
Has anyone ever painted the treble hooks on their hard baits? I was thinking maybe a perch colored jerkbait and orange trebles. So it would look like a perch's fins instead of shiny black things hanging off a perch. Any opinions would be great and maybe suggestions on what kind of paint to use.

If you believe it will make a difference, fingernail polish will be easier than paint.

Whatever you use, don't go with the water resistant markers. They have the ability to go into the vinyl and stain it forever

Instead of using paint, look for a product called lake hawk lure and blade dip, it is actually a dye and works well, I've used it to make treble and spinnerbait hooks red, it comes in a lot of different colors and is quick and easy to use plus it dries in 10 seconds.
