Heddon Torpedo. When I was a kid I threw a clear tiny torpedo and caught many fish on that bait.

Glad to see people found some success with the Rapala Skitterprop. That's been one useless lure for me. Doesn't cast so well, doesn't prop, and keeps diving on me. Not sure how much more tuning I'll need to get it to work. I need to land this lure right on a bass to get it to give a reaction bite.

Prop baits are my most underused topwater. Caught the most fish on a Skitter Prop, wish they weighed more. Got some Buzzjet and Buzzjet Jr. last Fall and caught some fish on them. I plan on throwing those Buzzjets a lot this year.

I have had a lot of success with the LC Splash Tail over the years. You need to replace the stock trebles as the points roll easily. Also, the hooks can tangle in the props as well as the line. These issues can be managed with a little practice. It walks easily and the props move with the slightest line movement. I like it as an alternative to small poppers. Just like small poppers anything more than a little chop will be too much for it.

Lucky Craft T-Splash. Great combination of a popper and a prop bait. It can be fished numerous ways.

You know I love the Buzzjet Jr but I have never managed to even get a follow up on it. So I would have to go with the skitter prop. I have caught tons of fish on that bait.
I bought my fiance 2 of the Buzzjet Jr's in Cherry Blossum and on 2 seperate occasions she caught over 25 fish on it.
