Lucky Craft Gunfish

Post by Micropterus salmoides » Thu Mar 10, 2011 6:05 am

Limited to two colors which would you choose for the Gunfish? My first would be Ghost Minnow, but haven't nailed down the second color yet. Curious to see what you guys like. :)

The Clear one and the Black one I cannot remember the names. But in all topwater baits that always seems to be the best colors for me throw in a bone color and you have all the bases covered.

I'm a big fan of the GunFish. I have either the MS Black or the Pearl Ayu rigged whenever I'm on or near the water.

Nishiki and Chartreuse Shad, pretty much any color works well though.

x2. These are in my tackle box right now. Out of the three, I have had more luck with the ghost minnow.

I'd go Ghost Minnow or Ghost TN Shad in the 115 size and American Shad in the 90 size. But Those two colors in the size to match your local bait would be my picks.

+1

These are the only 2 colors that I fish, and the Chart. Shad weighed in a nice 6 pounder in a tournament for me :D

I want some of these so bad. I went to Bass Pro in Auburn NY last month and they were sold out!
When I do get some I am going to get Ghost Minnow, Chartreuse Shad and probably Shell White or Ghost Sun Fish.
