When it comes to flat cranks, what's the one you have to have?

Without a doubt, O.S.P. HPF Crank Spec II or Original. Former is silent, latter has rattle. Aerodynamically a potato chip but kicks bass hiney!

I loved the original Poes flat sides, I caught a lot of fish off of them in the spring but now the DT flat has been my favorite flat side, the DT flat 7 specifically, I throw it all season but only in certain situations like 2 bodies of water I fish don't have much in the way of weeds but plenty of wood and rocks and the flat side gets more bites than traditional fat cranks, I don't know why but they do.

The shallow version of the Bandit Flat Maxx is a pretty sweet little crankbait.

I'm not sure if they still make them but I've stuck a lot of fish on the Strike King Flat Shad wood crankbait.

They quit selling them but the Creig Powers CP custom crankbaits are very similar. Strike King didn't actually make those they sold them but they were made another company called Mimic lures I think or something like that. They are based in Tennessee which is why the CP custom crankbaits are so similar because Craig Powers is also from TN.

I like CP custom baits, CottonCordell CC shad, and several homemade baits DBaits, Hawk Lures, Lazer Lure (not ones with the flashing lights), and Wee baits. And I like the Little John baits and Fat Free shads.
