I have the 50lb line and so far I like it
Any others have it and what are your thoughts?

Did you use the original super slick 8? I would like to know what's changed in the new version.

It has a higher pick count and a tighter weave. That means less line fray. It does seem a litle smoother to me, and I am a big fan of the original.Tim Kelly wrote:Did you use the original super slick 8? I would like to know what's changed in the new version.
Try not to let your mind wander. It is much too small to be outside unsupervised.

new coating is more durable and the line seems smoother with less coating coming off when spooling.
Re: V-2 Super Slick
I didn't like the original super slick as I found (in 10lb) the weave too loose and the line too floppy. A tighter weave should help, it might improve the stiffness too. I've just ordered some power pro "Z" from somewhere in Asia after it was recommended by a friend. That's supposed to be quite stiff, which should be good.
