I agree! It's pretty much all I use except my must use fluoro set ups. You're referring to the original green colored line, correct?

Armilo with the red badging
This stuff is a dream. I may try the green one.
The only thing is I’m only getting 165 with this spool but I see the other at 330y.

As I understand, Armilo and Defier green are different lines.
I do use Armillo, and love it. Very low stretch, great for topwater and moving baits applications.

The Shooter is the best moving bait line I've used, specially top water. Use it for all my cranking except deep. I have Armilo on all my all purpose rods, for bottom contract. Cut my use of FC in half.

Thanks Cracker, I may just use the shooter only from now on. Was really surprised on the stretch on the Armilo.

Cracker where did you get the charters, I went to the site but I'm not very good at finding stuff. Wanted to see how the Super Natural compares.

It used to be on SunlineAmerica.com affiliated to each Nylon and Fluorocarbon line.
Now, TW website has some charts.

https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Sunline ... -SDAR.html

Couldn't find any charts affiliated to Super Natural.

Original Green Defier and Armilo are different lines. There are reviews in our archives on both lines:

Super Natural is more supple than Armilo and not quite as slick and easy handling as Green Defier, but it also doesn't cost as much. I haven't checked if TW still carries the green Defier, but last I spoke to Sunline USA about the line, they were planning on discontinuing distribution fo the Green Defier in USDM due to lack of sales.

Armilo is such a great line, I have been using the 11lb for a year or so on a topwater rod and liked it so much I tried in on a GP rod in place of 12lb Invizx and was really surprised at how well it compared in terms of felt stretch and sensitivity.

It drives me crazy it's not available in bulk spools, I hate the smaller ones as I inevitably overfill or underfill my spools in some insane attempt to avoid wasting any line at the end of the spool.

That’s what I’m running into and trying not to waste any line but it happened to me. So I’m looking for a bulk spool

You need to determine the maximum number of refills that you think that you can get out of a small spool while still having enough line on your reel. You can use a line counter if you have a filling machine, but most people will have to find an open area near their house where they can mark off the exact distance for a refill. I back my reels with braid underneath. I often use 200 yard spools of fluoro with no waste. I have 66.6 yards marked off in the greenbelt next to me so that I can walk out the exact amount. I get three perfect refills. You can do a reverse fill the first time with the backing on top to make sure that your backing is the exact amount also. You will never waste line if you take the time to do this. It does take time though.

I don't think that the U.S. market will ever warm up to spending the Defier cost when they have gotten used to buying mono so cheap for so many decades. We used to do penny-a-yard bulk sales when I worked in a tackle shop. People would come in with boxes of long range saltwater reels. I would spend half of my day filling reels for cheap customers that only came out once a year for the sale.
