New Fireline fiddling fee foo fum...

I ran my typical tie my fishing knot, the one I am going to fish with. I am impressed with the strength. This line is gonna be awesome for ice fishing. The heavier test# lines were waxy and stiff, more so than standard Fireline. At least the spools I was checking out in the store.

Berkley Fireline Ultra 8 carrier .12 mm 4# knot break 8# 4 oz.

Compared to
Berkley Fireline Original .13 mm 4# knot break 6# 12 oz.
Sufix 832 Ice Braid .10mm 4# knot break 9# 2 oz.
ASSO Micro Finish braid .10 mm 12# knot break 9# 12 oz. Mfg claim break of 16.5#
slip bobbing is the laziest way to fish

Fantastic line! With use the stiffness goes away. Zero tip wrap, casts a mile, and no fraying from a bobber or the stop.
I am using 20# for steelhead float fishing and have zero complaints.
Our tradition is that of the first who sneaked away to the creek when tribe did not really need fish
