Vicious No-Fade Braid
Any one try out this braid?
I have read good reviews about it not fading, but I would also like to know how smooth the line is.
I wish they also offered it in 15lb and 10lb.

Re: Vicious No-Fade Braid
Got the braid today and so far I'm super impressed, its slick, round and thin.
Most, actually all braids that I have purchased new I can run my fingernail across and end up with some kind of
coloring tacked on my finger, I could not get this color to shed.
It also does not fray easily, hopefully I get to fish it soon, if it runs and stays the way it it now I will be switching all my braid.
Thumbs up so far.....
GOOD YEAR 71 you should give it a try over you Maxima

Re: Vicious No-Fade Braid
The diameter of this braid is the smallest I've ever seen. 40lb=009 inch is the diameter of most 20lb. Has anyone that has this line found their diameter accurate?

The 20lb and 60lb that I have is thin and seems to be what they rate it as, but I don't have any way to measure its trueShaft wrote:The diameter of this braid is the smallest I've ever seen. 40lb=009 inch is the diameter of most 20lb. Has anyone that has this line found their diameter accurate?
diameter.
When comparing it to other braids in the same lb range it feels thinner...
The coating is amazing and I can not rub this stuff off

So far no cons at all....
Re: Vicious No-Fade Braid
Has anyone used this line on a spinning reel? If so, what are your thoughts? One non-TT review stated the line was initially a bit stiff, but softened with use.
Re: Vicious No-Fade Braid
I have used the 30 and 40 but not lighter weight for spinning gear. I would agree that it is a little stiff which might not be the greatest for spinning but perhaps the 20 would be a bit more supple. I haven't used in enough to say how much it limbers up. I am loving it so far. 20 is the lightest they have right now but it should be great. It's diameter is .007 which is smaller than sunline tx1 12 .0075

Re: Vicious No-Fade Braid
Still not one issue and I been running this braid on 4 rods.
The only thing I have noticed is the line in 60lb likes to pick up water, but every braid I have used in the line weight does
the same.
It does limber up after a few uses but the color is still there.....super impressed.

Re: Vicious No-Fade Braid
Since I color the first four feet of my braid with a black sharpie, a tip I learned on TU, I wonder why no one makes a black braid?

Seaguar Flippin braid is black but it only comes in 50 and 65 pound test.mark poulson wrote:Since I color the first four feet of my braid with a black sharpie, a tip I learned on TU, I wonder why no one makes a black braid?
