Duel-Yozuri

Post by BRONZEBACK32 » Wed Jan 25, 2017 9:21 am

Has anyone tried these two braides?
Duel super 8
Yo-Zuri super braid

If I had to guess I would say they are both made by the same company :big grin:
I wonder if there is a difference in the two besides colors available, the specs are the same but the price is not.

Anyone?

I haven't used the yozuri but I have used the duel hardcore series while being stationed in japan because it was always available at tackle berry next to base. What I can say about the braid is that it's thinner then average braids, handles well, and is as strong as its ratings. I used PE sizes 0.6, 0.8, 1.5, and 2.0 on spinning and baitcasting gear in the color white without much issues. It's feels like stiff floss at first and it makes tying an fg tricky at times then as it gets worn in the braid kind of flattens out a bit and you'll see a lot of twist in the braid even though it's a 8 carrier braid. Because it's coating is floss like it's super smooth and there's hardly any frays even after long use it also stays on the stiffer side because of its coating. Hope this helps!

I am also interested...I searched under Dual but didn’t find anything....then I found that the word is spelled Duel.
How does it compare with the new PowerPro?

FYI...it’s the same diameter as Power Pro Slick 8.
