I have 15lb yellow on spinning rod.

I cant tell a differnece between other braids....casts a little better...a little. Also it bleeds color pretty quickly....

Im disappointed at this lins for price. Maybe higher test would see exponential difference in sink rate

Recently messed with 20lb on 2500 spinner. The 'sinking' part is what drew me. It doesn't sink. Frankly, I wasn't impressed. No idea durability, no idea comparative strength, too coarse and loud for my taste. Far from the worst but not what I prefer. The water was too stained to see depth of bow but going by feel it does appear a bit less buoyant than most. That, however, is not the same thing as sinking. Which is doesn't.

Yes I have. Wicked looking color, beyond that stiff and coarse. It'll rattle your teeth. Probably great cutting through kelp, it's designed for salt anyway as I recall. My sense was that of quality, but I didn't run it long.

I had bought some of this braid, but I think I will return it based on this input. I just put Sufix 832 (lime color) on my drop shot and shaky head set ups. 832 sinks better than other braids. My favorite finesse braid was Sufix Nanobraid. It is very thin, soft and strong. I had 10 lb in the ghost color. I pulled it off because I wanted a braid I could see better.

i would still love to find a fast sinking braid. that would literally change my whole approach to fishing. i've tried the 832 when it first came out, but it wasn't what i was looking for.

isn't 1.12 supposed to be similar to the density of mono? fc's like 1.7?

It sure on the technical specs, but someday somebody will come out with what we want.
