Lucky Craft lines

Post by earthworm77 » Sun Oct 09, 2016 4:13 am

Any word on any of these? I prefer to spend my money on line and hooks which are the most important links to fish. I shouldn't be asking but I am curious if any of the Lucky Craft lines are serviceable?

I just bench-tested 4 lb. test Lucky Craft Iron Athlete fluorocarbon this afternoon and like it. While it is thick for a 4 lb. line (.0084"), its 7.4 lb. break strength with the best knots for it compares favorably with 6 lb. test Tatsu (.0081" and 7.2 lbs.). It seems slightly stiffer than Tatsu, but should handle fine on a 2000 size Daiwa.

I haven't checked out any other LC lines.
