Does color impact softness

Post by Pegasus » Sun Oct 02, 2016 5:23 am

I just got a spool of 20lb. test supernatural in clear.
I had a spool of jungle green that I bought earlier same pound test 20lb.
Why is the clear not only softer, but more manageable ?
I don't want to call it a problem but has anybody ever noticed this before

Regards

I've noticed that colored lines, whether fluoro or nylon mono always seem stiffer than the same line in an uncolored/clear version.
Can't imagine dye making a noticeable difference, but I have definitely observed that.
